OPI Lourve Me, Lourve me not – is a gorgeous medium toned fuchsia pink purple berry with purple shimmer to it. I wore this as an inspiration for my “The Secret Circle – Melissa Glaser Makeup Tutorial” based on what they apply on her nails for the character on the show. I will be honest it has been a while (almost a year) since I’ve worn this one and I don’t know what took me so long! I think it’s perfect for those who do not like wearing the darker shades of purple and I can see it complementing many skin tones as well. It applied nicely in 3 thins coats, I’m beginning to notice that when I apply thin coats of nail polish, it lasts longer and this one was no surprise – I am still wearing it (4 days in total) and tip wear is only now starting to show so this is a winner in my book! I usually wear it for Fall but I think the fuchsia pink undertone lends itself nicely into Spring. This was from the OPI France Collection in 2009 I believe, the year before I started hoarding nail polish LOL! I do like it a lot but I think it might be dupable – so I am certain you can find a similar shade for a much cheaper price. While I really like this one, I don’t love it – only because it’s not the most unique colour and many companies make red based purples so if you already have one berry shade in your collection – I would skip on this one.
Opaque: 3 coats
Cost: $10 Canadian
Recommend: Yes, but dupable
Grade: A- (8/10)
