OPI Ski Teal We Drop is a dark inky blue teal creme and was part of their 2010 Swiss Fall Collection. This polish is quite the STUNNER – you can achieve a full opaque manicure with one coat depending on your application techniques, I used two just in case for any visible brush strokes etc. It definitely has a bit of a peacock blue undertone as well which I always tend to gravitate towards (I like inky blue shades for some reason). I can’t say enough good things about this polish, it was definitely worth the money and I am actually pretty sad I didn’t purchase a back up of it – as I can see myself finishing this bottle without a problem! And while this is a Fall shade, I can see myself wearing this one throughout Spring as well on those cold, windy and rainy days.
I have always had a soft spot for a really nice blue or green nail polish (and it takes a lot for a polish to impress me) but this one takes the cake! If you ever see this stunner in a beauty shop I would advice you to get it!! You won’t regret it at all! I think it can lend itself for so many occasions and can be border line trendy! Who says teals aren’t the new black?? I think one of the Nicole by OPI Kardashian nail polishes is a dupe of this, I believe it’s called – Khloe has a LamLam? I don’t own that one but I noticed it’s similarity last time I was at my local drugstore. So if you can’t find this one due to it being from a 2010 Collection then your best bet in finding a dupe of it would be that Kardashian colour.
It does have a slight shiny finish without a top coat and I found myself not wanting to take this one off! I got a few compliments as well on it – for a dark creme that shines on it’s own without glitter and shimmer, I think OPI has got a home run polish on their hands. I REALLY hope this one makes it into their permanent collection.
Beautiful! I want this color!!
