Misa – Working Hard or Hardly Working

MISA – Working Hard or Hardly Working is a creme grey polish with slight blue hues to it. I have to say first off, I love the name!!! Very clever! And second, this is my FAVOURITE grey polish in my collection simply because it looks FANTASTIC on my warm medium skin tone. In the past, I have had the most difficult time trying to find a grey creme that would not show up ashy on my skin tone. The bluish undertone in this one has made it the front runner in my collection of light grey cremes! Talk about a sophisticated colour as well! So appropriate for many occasions, have been wearing this one a lot more during Spring time than I thought I would have, it just looks really really good with everything! I did not even intend on it becoming a trendy colour for myself this Spring 2012 but it puts a smile on my face knowing it compliments many many many of my spring outfits thus far! In essence, its like a no brainer colour – it will work with pretty much everything Spring related.

The application was a DREAM to work with! The first layer reminded me of Essie but the second coat was just stunning, it had a really high shine after it was completely dry and I did NOT wear a top coat ever (I have done 3 manicures of this colour) simply because it did not need it. The lasting power is heavenly as well, I saw tip wear around my 4th day of wearing it – which to me is on par with Zoya and Essie polishes. I think if I allowed it carry on for a week, it would have had a few chips but for the most part it would be an amazing lasting manicure. So in my books it is a definite winner and I  will be buying more MISA polishes in the future! The only hang-up on this polish was the drying time, it took a little longer to dry than I would have liked!!

They are now available in Trade Secrets in Canada Woo Hoo!! No more ordering online blindly lol!
