Zoya Yasmeen

Zoya Yasmeen – is a red based purple infused with A LOT of micro-shimmer magenta particles. It’s like the warmer purple sister of OPI Ink (you can view my swatch of that polish HERE). I am not sure which collection this polish was released in but it is one of my favourite purple shimmers from Zoya – simply because it is more of a ‘warmer’ tone purple. In my opinion, I think it’s a fantastic choice for wearing a dark colour on those Spring & Summer nights. It’s a gorgeous polish to have in your collection – and a must have if you are a purple polish lover! It’s hard to describe it…you have to see it in person but if you have OPI Ink, just think of that polish in a ‘purple’ form.

What makes this purple different from my other Zoya purples is the micro shimmer – its so refined it sort of glows on your nails – especially when you apply a layer of top coat to it – it just jumps off your nails. And that’s unique for a dark purple polish if you ask me.

This applied decently on two coats and dried on average with other Zoya polishes – while I have a ton of ‘purple’s in my collection – I notice I find myself reaching for this polish when I want something dark but not vampy and to get away from the regular OPI Lincoln Park After Dark / Midnight dark nail burn out. As well, I LOVE to wear it when my nails are short!!! They look super cute and sophisticated and you can arrive at a party, date, gathering knowing you are wearing something most people won’t be wearing!

In addition, I do think if you are warmer skin toned, specifically with a yellow undertone like myself – this purple shimmer is a great choice! It has a slight burgundy undertone to it as well which kind of leans as more of a Fall shade but I wear it year round and wait till you see this bad boy in sunlight. You’ll have an OMG moment lol!
