Zoya Lulu

Zoya Lulu – is a sheer flesh tone netural peachy jelly/creme finish polish. Those are a lot of adjectives I know LOL but essentially it is a neutral polish that is appropriate for everything under the sun – but I like it for a daytime polish for work, school, date nights and causal summer evenings. This polish is definitely a spring & summer time neutral and I love that it can compliment almost everything makeup & fashion wise during those seasons.

At first glance, it is easy to push this girlie aside and forget about her – but I have learned to appreciate neutrals such as this polish – as it has saved my butt on many occasions when I get frustrated as to what to wear on my nails! It’s feminine, simple and classic – you do need patience with it – so if you are one to like a one-coater polish – then this is not for you. But if you are looking for a summer neutral from Zoya with a bit of a sheer flesh tone appeal – she is your girl.

One of the appeals for this polish is  that – it can be used as a base for modern french manicures (I am NOT a fan of french manicures myself – but if you are one for that sort of thing – I think LuLu will make you happy). In addition, when I have NO TIME and I am in a rush – I have on two occasions, rushed one coat of this on my nails – and it gave my nail beds a nice healthy glow with a shiny finish. But then again, you can find the same result in a drug store brand of sheer nude nail polish.

That being said, this polish is not unique and it is a sheer so this baby NEEDS at least four layers (the picture consists of four layers) to achieve an opaque manicure but it does dry quickly in between coats. If you really want to try a sheer flesh tone from ZOYA I recommend this one but I think you can definitely find a dupe in the drug store and for less of the cost. It may not be the peachy nude as Lulu but a sheer flesh tone is super easy to find.

Application: 7/10
