Zoya Kelly

Zoya Kelly – is a dark grey creme polish with VERY slight purple undertone. This polish was released in Zoya’s Fall ‘Wonderful’ Collection 2010 and is one of their best selling shades and for good reason! This polish is seriously one of the best greys I have in my collection and it is the PERFECT alternative to black nail polish – I find whenever I wear this polish everyone asks me about it! I personally love to wear it on shorter nails and I LOVE it so much I create reasons to wear it!! All my nail polish collector ladies know what I’m talking about – we all have a colour or several colours in our collection that we just seem to be drawn to and can not have enough of it! And if it has been months before I wear it – I astonish myself as to why I have not worn it sooner!!!

While it is more of a Fall and Winter shade I think you can wear it year round depending on the occasion. And it is a no-fuss application – beautiful on two coats and buttery in texture. The drying time on this one is what I am going to start to refer to as ‘GOOD Zoya’ because they do have a few polishes that takes quite some time to dry.

For me, I find this tone of grey to be VERY CHIC and sophisticated and something about it just seems powerful to me. I was never a fan of dark greys on my skin tone so this is the only one of its kind in my collection and the only one I would think of repurchasing! I think it works as a neutral colour as well – in fact Misa has a dupe of this polish in their collection called Office Polish-tics (VERY CUTE NAME – and SO TRUE!) I believe, which was part of their AWESOME 9-5 Collection which I think was a VERY strong collection. It was time working women got their own personal nail polish collection suitable for the office – good job by MISA for recognizing that!
