OPI Alpine Snow

OPI Alpine Snow – is a basic white creme finish nail polish. First, let me apologize for not posting as often but that will soon change as I have a TON of nail polishes and makeup items to share with you guys! Okay, getting back to this polish – I showed it as a summer pick for 2012 and while I was not a fan of white nail polish in the past, I have a new appreciation for it! My apprehension of not wearing it in the past is because it reminded me of painting your nails with white-out or liquid paper (as my fellow Caribbean folks would say). But I really wanted to try it this summer and I am soooooo glad that I did!

This polish looks crisp, neutral, clean, it gives you a tan and I prefer wearing it when my nails are shorter. I really love the application on this one, while it took three coats to achieve the level of opaqueness that makes me happy – it dried really quickly and it had a bit of a shiny finish which is NOT typical of OPI polishes at all! While this is the only white nail polish I have ever tried and the only white nail polish that belongs in my collection – I can say it is definitely worth the money. But every nail polish company under the sun  makes a white nail polish so you can get it anywhere! I will say though, as with dark nail polishes, when this baby starts to chip, I HAD to take it all off because it looked really obvious and well – I suffer from OCD when I see chipped nails LOL!
