China Glaze Peachy Keen – is bright orange-peach creamsicle creme finish nail polish. This polish was originally released in their Spring 2010 Up & Away Collection, I bought the entire collection because while China Glaze is not my favourite brand of polish all the colours in that collection were really hard to pass up! I really adore the colour and formula of this particular polish but I have to rant about the brush!! Am I the only one who really DISLIKES China Glaze brushes? It’s hard, spiky and difficult to avoid getting polish around the cuticle area, perhaps it is simply my nail beds does not agree with China Glaze??
It took two coats to achieve an opaque manicure and it lasted quite a long time before I saw any tip wear or chipping. In China Glaze’s defense, while I dislike the brush etc, it lasts a long time on my nails – but the drying time is a little longer than most of my other brands of nail polish. The colour is stunning but it does take some babysitting not to dent this polish while it’s drying which can be annoying.
In this picture you can really see how bright it is, makes me look like a have a tan! I got a lot of compliments while wearing it so needless to say if you are a warm tone girl – this would look gorgeous on you! I have been trying to use all my summer polishes before the cold weather sets in, but I am sorry I neglected this polish all summer long!
While China Glaze is not my favourite brand like I mentioned earlier, I do HIGHLY suggest picking this one up if you don’t already have it in your collection. It’s such a fun, girly and spring/summer staple colour to have and I wish I had worn it sooner.
