Hey everyone, how’s it going?? Today is FAMILY DAY in Canada – I am enjoying the extra sleep and I feel old because ‘extra sleep’ means not waking at 5:00am but being able to sleep in till 7am!! Growing up sucks sometimes lol! Today, I have a beautiful polish to share with all of you. I bought this about 3 years ago when it was in a sale bin at Trade Secrets and it was one of the best deals ever! And for some reason I have been on a purple polish kick lately so…you might be seeing a few purple polishes in my upcoming posts!
Zoya Pinta – is a true burple (blue + purple) rich cream polish and was released in a past Zoya collection a few years ago. The formula on this one was super creamy, buttery and OPAQUE! This is one of the few polishes in my collections that is a ONE coater! I used two coats in the pictures you are viewing but that was only out of habit.
The formula was rich and very luxurious and it dried super fast in comparison with other creme shades from Zoya. I adore the darkness and depth as well, I think it’s really chic and Zoya really got it right with this shade. It’s easy to apply and for a dark polish it does last a decent amount of time before it starts chipping. It isn’t TOO dark either, you can tell that it is purple vs black indoors and outdoors.
This is also a dupe of Essie No More Film so if you loved that colour but wanted a better formula, this is your girl!! I notice that whenever I am in the mood for OPI Ski Teal We Drop but want something darker I reach for this! I think it’s one of Zoya’s best colours + formulas and if you wanted a TRUE burple to add to your collection, this would be the perfect addition!
