Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well – be prepared for some holiday polishes and/or makeup inspired items because my favourite holiday is Christmas and I shall try my very best to do as many holiday related posts as possible. For any of you who follow me on Twitter, Facebook or Youtube (and if you don’t – you should because I check them daily so if you ever want to contact me those are the best places to do so) – this past weekend I went to the Toronto IMATS 2013 with my good friend MissHollyBerries!! She is so fantastic, beautiful and charming – it was a complete joy to have met her & it literally felt like I was catching up with an old friend, needless to say it was a wonderful spending the day shopping, dining and hanging out – I simply adore her to pieces!!!
OPI ‘Tickle My France-y’ – is a medium tan nude creme polish that was originally released in OPI’s France Fall Collection a few years ago but is currently a permanent shade in their core line (the last time I checked). As you can see it’s a fantastic nude shade for my skin tone but I do believe it to be a universally flattering shade for everyone. It’s one of those polishes that looks different on everyone yet gorgeous at the same time!
The formula on this one is ‘watery’ or ‘thin’ in consistency which may not be suitable for everyone, I personally have no issue with it but it did require 3 coats to be opaque. This manicure lasted about 3 days before I saw chips or wear on my tips however I lasted longer than most OPI’s on my nails, which I shall attribute the thin layers of polish to. I don’t really hear much people talk about this polish anymore but I think it has an element of sophistication to it don’t you think?
Sorry for the major dry hands – this is the result of my obsession with hand sanitizer lol. I wear this polish mostly in Fall & Winter & I think it’s a classic shade, it’s not unique by any means (but I love how nicely it blends into my skin tone) so if you have a nude in your collection that works for you I say stick to it but if you’re in the market for a nude this would be a good choice.
Do you own OPI ‘Tickle My France-y’ ? What are your thoughts on this nail polish?
This is a beautiful nude, how did I miss that?
This is a good nude for everybody! 🙂
